Learning Mentor Team Leader (Nottingham Campus - Woodborough Road)

We are looking for a confident and inspiring Learning Mentor Team Leader to guide and develop our Learning Mentor team at our Woodborough Road Campus in Nottingham.
This is a crucial leadership role in which you will coach, mentor and inspire a team of around 20鈥25 staff, ensuring high standards of learner support and outstanding outcomes for learners with complex needs.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, manage and support a team of Learning Mentors
- Deliver high quality staff training in collaboration with the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team
- Provide coaching and mentoring to improve staff performance and confidence as well as supporting staff wellbeing
- Identify development opportunities and promote continuous improvement
- Support staff working with learners who have complex behavioural needs
- Work collaboratively with therapists, managers and wider college teams
What We鈥檙e Looking For:
- Proven experience of leading and managing teams
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop staff performance
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence others
- Experience working in SEND or complex educational environments
- Experience handling challenging situations and supporting others to do the same
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and promoting best practice
- Experience supporting learners with complex behavioural needs

Qualifications needed
- Level 3 qualification in Learning Support or willingness to work towards
- Maths and English Level 2
- Level 3 Coach Mentor qualification or willingness to work towards
